The Israeli occupation army said in a statement on its official website that soldier Natan Rosenfeld (20 years old), a "fighter in the 601st Combat Engineering Battalion of the Iron Arches Brigade (401)", was killed during a battle in the northern Gaza Strip.

The Israeli army radio reported that Rosenfeld was killed by an explosive device, noting that the rest of the force members were not injured in the incident.
