"Some officials on the other side are threatening military action if negotiations do not bear fruit," Nasirzadeh said at a press conference. "If a conflict is imposed on us... all US bases are within our reach, and we will strongly target them in the host countries."
US President Donald Trump has repeatedly threatened to bomb Iran if it does not reach a new nuclear agreement.
The Iranian minister noted that Tehran had recently tested a missile with a two-ton warhead, stressing that it would not accept restrictions on its missile programs.
On Monday evening, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei announced in a statement that the sixth round of nuclear talks with the United States will be held on June 15 in the Omani capital, Muscat.
The two countries have previously held five rounds of talks in Muscat and the Italian capital, Rome.
Through the nuclear negotiations, Iran seeks to lift the sanctions imposed on it in exchange for limiting some of its nuclear activities, without prejudice to its right to the peaceful use of nuclear energy.
US Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff previously told ABC News that "uranium enrichment is a very clear red line for the Trump administration. We cannot allow it because enrichment enables weaponization."
These developments come amid a prolonged stalemate in nuclear negotiations between Iran and Western powers since Washington's withdrawal from the agreement in 2018, amid repeated attempts by both sides to revive it under new conditions.
