Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Nezar Patria invited journalists to raise solution-based narratives as a strategy for conveying information to the public.
He criticized the tendency of international mainstream media, which still focuses more than 80 percent of its coverage of climate change, to focus on the doom narrative. According to him, this approach actually weakens collective efforts and creates public fatigue on the issue of climate change.
"Communication on climate change is not about creating fear, but about encouraging joint solutions," said Nezar in his statement
