The GFAC vehicle belonging to the Detachment Matra 1 Combat Controller Wing Komando I Kopasgat TNI AU is one of the combat vehicles that has an important role in making defense missions a success.
Commander of Wing Komando I Kopasgat Colonel Pas Helmi A. Nange at the training location, East Belitung, explained that this vehicle is basically an Isuzu D-Max modified with several sophisticated tools such as radio transmitters and radar.

This vehicle is equipped with two radios, namely Radio RF 4050 and Radio 2350. Each radio is equipped with a jamming device to prevent hacking.
These two radios have a long enough range to allow communication with aircraft.
So far, the radio has been tested at a maximum distance of 50 kilometers into the air.
This vehicle, said Colonel Pas Helmi A. Nange, is also equipped with a long range camera monitoring system with specifications of progressive scan method, 36 times zoom, uncooled sensor , 1/4 exfiew thermal imager uncooled infrared focal plane detector sensor which functions as BDA (Bomb Damage Assessment) or the results of fighter aircraft shooting.
Colonel Pas Nange explained that the BDA can detect human targets at night.
This radio car has also been connected to several Indonesian Air Force aircraft, namely CN-295, F-16, Super Tucano, T-50 and Hawk 100/200.
Not only this car, he continued, the Dalpur Team of Matra 1 Detachment also has a smaller radio, namely the RF 23 which has a range of 18 kilometers.
