Secretary General of the Golkar Party DPP Muhammad Sarmuji said that President Prabowo Subianto's decision not to carry out a cabinet reshuffle in the near future was because he still needed time to evaluate his ministers.
"The president still needs time to evaluate his ministers," said Sarmuji at the parliament complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday.
This is because President Prabowo cannot evaluate the performance of ministries led by ministers in his cabinet in the short term.
"For example, if the program is to plant trees, plant fruit, of course the fruit cannot be picked within 2-3 months. Especially if the fruit is durian, of course the evaluation must also have a certain time period dimension," he said.
Sarmuji also said that President Prabowo could also see that his ministers in the Red and White Cabinet were still performing quite well so he decided not to carry out a reshuffle .
"It is possible that the President still needs time for that or the President feels that there is no urgency to carry out a reshuffle now , it could be like that," he said.
