Minister of National Development Planning/Head of Bappenas Rachmat Pambudy submitted the master plan document for the development of the Banda Neira National Strategic Area in tourism to the Maluku Provincial Government.
"The Banda Neira national strategic tourism area is a national priority," said Rachmat in Ambon, Monday.
He said this during a working visit to Ambon City, Maluku.
He said the document was the result of cross-ministerial and institutional preparation aimed at encouraging the development of Banda Neira as a strategic area for national tourism and history, as well as a new center for economic growth in eastern Indonesia.
