IBL standings competition is still fierce even though the playoff slots have been filled

As many as eight teams have confirmed their progress to the 2025 IBL Playoffs, but the battle for positions in the standings is still wide open ahead of the 18th week of the regular season which starts on Wednesday.

Based on the standings on the IBL page, Dewa United Banten, Rans Simba Bogor, Hangtuah Jakarta, Satria Muda Pertamina Jakarta, Kesatria Bengawan Solo, Pelita Jaya Jakarta, Tangerang Hawks Basketball, and Prawira Bandung are the eight best teams up to week 17.

All of them have pocketed at least 13 wins and are eligible to appear in the post-season phase.

However, the standings are not yet completely narrowed down. Several top teams still have enough games left to change the power map.

Dewa United, who currently lead with a record of 19-4 (W19, L4), have three games left. Meanwhile, Pelita Jaya, who have a record of 17-3, have six games left, giving them a great opportunity to overtake and finish in first place.
