Indonesian women's volleyball team soars to 48th in the world rankings





The Indonesian women's national volleyball team shot up to 48th in the world rankings.

As reported on the Volleyball World page, Wednesday, the Srikandi team shot up to 48th place after collecting a total of 58.03 points.

In the ranking update as of June 18, Indonesia was recorded as the team with the most increase in ranking in the world after jumping 11 places.

This cannot be separated from the points earned by Yolla Yuliana and her friends at the 2025 AVC Nations Cup tournament.

In the biggest volleyball tournament in Asia, the Srikandi team was recorded as the fifth ranked team in Asia.

In the Asian confederation ranking, Indonesia is now ranked ninth in Asia. The best team in Asia is still held by Japan, which has collected 351.55 points and is now ranked fifth in the world.

Below Japan is China, which has now collected 343.10 points and is ranked sixth in the world.

Meanwhile, Thailand is now ranked third in Asia and 14th in the world after collecting a total of 188.72 points. Followed by Vietnam which is in fourth place and 26th in the world by securing 141.21 points.

Kazakhstan is listed as fifth in Asia and 34th in the world with a collection of 105.06 points.
