iPadOS 26 brings new features to iPad





 The iPadOS 26 operating system introduced by Apple at the Worldwide Developers Conference 2025 in the United States local time brings new features for iPad devices.

The company said in a press release on its official website that iPadOS introduces a completely new windowing system while maintaining the simplicity of the iPad.

The new features introduced by the company help users control, organize and switch between applications.

“iPadOS 26 is our biggest iPadOS release yet, with advanced features that take the experience to the next level and transform what users can do on iPad,” said Apple Senior Vice President of Software Engineering Craig Federighi.

He said the newly designed operating system has a completely new, advanced and intuitive windowing system and brings more features powered by Apple Intelligence.

Enhanced Apple Intelligence is integrated across iPadOS 26, with new features that help users communicate, express themselves, and get things done.

New features include Live Translation , Genmoji , Image Playground , and Shortcuts

Additionally, the Files app offers new ways to organize files and customize folders and the Preview app lets users view and edit PDF files.

The iPadOS 26 operating system also provides new support for creative professionals working with audio and video.
