The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has postponed the detention of the owner of PT Jembatan Nusantara and suspect in the alleged corruption case of the acquisition of PT JN, Adjie, due to health reasons.
"It was postponed because the person concerned was sick. Being sick cannot then be forced (detention, ed.)," said KPK Chairman Setyo Budiyanto at the KPK Anti-Corruption Education Center Building.
Therefore, Setyo said that KPK investigators will wait for the recovery of the suspect in the alleged corruption case in the business cooperation and acquisition process of PT JN by PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) in 2019-2022.
"Wait until he recovers first. Hopefully after he recovers, then another forced effort will be made," he said.
