Kremlin: The date for the next negotiations with Ukraine will be determined when the parties are ready.

This came in statements made by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov to reporters in Moscow, in which he stated that the Russian and Ukrainian sides exchanged draft memoranda on Monday containing their visions for ending the three-year war between them.

"It is clear that evaluating the two drafts requires time, and the date for the new round of negotiations will be determined when the parties are ready," Peskov said.

On Monday, Istanbul hosted a second round of Russian-Ukrainian talks aimed at ending the war that has been ongoing since 2022.

The two sides agreed during the Istanbul negotiations to proceed with the prisoner exchange, and the Russian side submitted a memorandum outlining its vision for a ceasefire.

Vladimir Medinsky, head of the Russian delegation to the Istanbul negotiations, announced that the Ukrainian side had submitted a draft memorandum regarding resolving the crisis and establishing peace between the two countries.

Since February 24, 2022, Russia has launched a military attack on its neighbor, Ukraine, and has stipulated that the attack must end if Kyiv abandons its membership in Western military entities. Kyiv considers this to be "interference" in its affairs.
