The wife of Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Selvi Ananda, said that marriage is not enough just based on love but must also be mentally, financially and reproductively ready so as not to produce a stunted generation.
"Poverty and stunting can all be prevented by not marrying at an early age," he said while conducting socialization on preventing early child marriage at the NTB Regional Hospital, Mataram, Wednesday.
Selvi said that every marriage has a big responsibility because it means being together with your partner for a lifetime.
