The Chairperson of the Indonesian Gymnastics Federation, Ita Yuliati, said that the main purpose of holding the Indonesia Open was to monitor the talents of young gymnasts as a form of development effort.
He explained that holding the Indonesia Open with a focus on young athletes was not without reason and this step was also to popularize the sport of gymnastics in Indonesia.
