TdBi 2025 enters the third stage which will determine the standings

The 2025 Tour de Banyuwangi Ijen (TdBI) today, Wednesday, entered the third stage which will be the initial deciding factor in the final standings with a route of up and down 140.3 kilometers starting from the Glenmore Green Open Space (RTH) and finishing at the Banyuwangi Regency Government Office, East Java.

Three up-and-down or rolling routes , especially after the 97th kilometer, color the third stage of TdBI 2025. Then there is also a 14-kilometer climb from Labanasem Village in Kabat District to Pakel in Licin District, which certainly tests the physical strength of the racers.

The third stage is also challenging with a gradient of up to 15 percent and a height of 527 meters above sea level (masl), just like a warm-up for the racers before conquering the erek-erek climb of Mount Ijen in the final stage on Thursday (31/7) tomorrow.

"This route is ideal for all-round racers, combining flat tracks, climbs, and sprints. Although it hasn't yet reached the main climbs, the long and intense ups and downs in this third stage are predicted to be exhausting," said Guntur Priamodo, the organizing committee chairman of the 2025 TdBI international cycling race, in Banyuwangi on Wednesday.
