The Hundreds of people participated in the traditional race for International Police Day, which was commemorated on January 2.
The athletic activity began at the facilities of the Tijuana Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection and ended in front of City Hall. More than 1,500 people participated in this 5-kilometer circuit, including police officers from various security agencies, the general public, and runners from the region.
The kick-off ceremony was held by the Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection, Fernando Sánchez, and the director of the Municipal Sports Institute, Cecilio Hernández.
The first three places in each category took home a symbolic medal from this athletic race.
