Tecate, January 17. Reaffirming her commitment to the safety of the state's families and promoting the well-being of officers from the various corporations, Baja California Governor Marina del Pilar Avila Olmeda led the graduation ceremony for 174 cadets from the state's Police Training and Development Center. They are members of the State Citizen Security Force, the State Security and Penitentiary Custody Force, and the police forces of six municipalities in the state.
In her message to the graduates, their families, and society at large, the Head of the State Executive Branch emphasized the importance of the work carried out by Baja California police officers in advancing toward a state with greater security for all, where children and adolescents can grow up in peace and fulfillment.
"What we witnessed today is the vocation to serve, the vocation of a uniformed people, to seek peace and tranquility for the families of the state that has seen them grow and develop, that has seen them build their dreams and raise their families," the state leader told the new security personnel.
Marina del Pilar emphasized the comprehensive training the cadets received, which was undertaken with determination by their will to protect the people of Baja California and serve its citizens with character, loyalty, humanity, empathy, and temperance.
In the same vein, he reiterated that the Baja California State Government's commitment is also to improve the working conditions and benefits of all police officers in the state, allocating the necessary resources to provide the benefits to which they are entitled.
