Apple is reportedly in negotiations with Google to use Google's Gemini artificial intelligence (AI) to power Apple's next-generation voice assistant, Siri.
This report first came from Bloomberg, which stated that discussions were still in the early stages. Apple has reportedly contacted Google to ask the company to create a custom AI model to be used for Siri.
In response, Google has begun training models that will run on Apple's Private Cloud Compute servers.
