Ávila Olmeda assures that there will be no "queue jumping" in the adoption process.

Mexicali, April 28. Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda assured that she will continue the adoption process for an infant in the custody of the state DIF (National Family Development Agency) without "jumping the line," and explained that she will initially seek to become a "Family of Heart."

"I've always considered adoptive families to be a tremendous act of love, and I would love to, of course, but we'll have to meet all the necessary requirements."

He denied that there was any influence peddling in the adoption process, saying they would wait and see.

"In the meantime, if we're families at heart, we also know that we have to meet the requirements and comply with them. I don't intend to jump the line; we know there are many families who have been waiting for some time," he stated after leading the swearing-in of the 2023 girls and boys officials.
