Tijuana, November 9. This afternoon, the body of a male was found dead on the sand at San Ysidro Beach. He was believed to be a Venezuelan migrant.
The incident was observed near the border wall that divides Mexico from the United States in Playas de Tijuana.
Unofficially, it is presumed that the person drowned while attempting to cross into the neighboring country; he died on U.S. soil.
Border Patrol authorities arrived at the scene to secure the area while the corresponding scene procedures were carried out.
