Tijuana, August 28.—Tijuana Mayor Ismael Burgueño Ruiz launched the municipal strategy "Back to School Together" this Thursday in the Cerro Colorado district, with an investment of more than 213,000 pesos to support students in the area.

During the event, 450 school supply packages and 200 uniform vouchers were distributed to girls, boys, and adolescents in the district, as part of the municipal government's efforts to encourage school attendance.

The initiative will be extended to the city's other boroughs in the coming weeks, according to municipal authorities.

"With the distribution of school supplies and uniform vouchers, we reaffirm our commitment to education, because we know this is the foundation for building a better future. It's not just about distributing pencils or notebooks, but about strengthening the hope in our children and youth of achieving their dreams and continuing their studies without economic constraints," Burgueño Ruiz told the audience.
