Chelsea have signed talented young defender Jorrel Hato from Ajax.

Chelsea FC announced the transfer of talented young Dutch defender Jorrel Hato from Ajax Amsterdam.

Through their official website, the Blues welcomed the arrival of the 19-year-old player who is tied to a contract until 2032.

"Chelsea are delighted to announce the signing of Dutch international Jorrel Hato from Ajax," Chelsea said in a statement on their website on Monday.

According to European transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea will have to pay 43 million euros (Rp821 billion) for Hato, making him part of the Blues' long-term project under coach Enzo Maresca.
