Tijuana, August 16.- A vehicle collision occurred this afternoon on the Vía Rápida Oriente highway, disrupting traffic near the well-known "Parque de las Quinceañeras."
The accident involved two vehicles: a blue Nissan Versa sedan operating under the ride-hailing scheme, carrying three people, including the driver, and a Jeep Patriot SUV occupied by two women.
Fortunately, none of the five occupants of either vehicle suffered serious injuries, according to authorities responding to the scene. Emergency services dispatched to the scene found everyone outside the cars and in stable condition.
The accident occurred in an area that connects to the route to the San Ysidro border crossing, so the impact on traffic was significant. Motorists traveling through the area experienced delays while authorities worked at the scene.
