Ensenada, February 6. Based on sampling conducted by the State Commission for the Protection Against Sanitary Risks (Coepris), it was determined that Conalep 1 and Hermosa beaches can be reopened for recreational activities at sea.
The Coepris notification indicates that the seawater quality monitoring results are within the standard, with fewer than 10 enterococci per 100 milliliters at both beaches.
For the above reasons, the Aquatic Division of the Ensenada Fire Department will proceed to remove the red flags .
It should be noted that on February 4, seawater samples were taken for analysis at Playa Hermosa and Conalep 1, after a preventive closure was declared on January 20 due to a sewage spill.
