Mexicali, April 10. The "Women 50 and Over" program , aimed at female entrepreneurs in Baja California, remains in effect, and the Ministry of Economy and Innovation (SEI) is providing support, reported Governor Marina del Pilar Avila Olmeda.
The president invited those interested to participate, as this program grants up to 20,000 pesos to women over 50 who are engaged in economic activities and are not officially registered with the Tax Administration Service (SAT).
He explained that with this initiative, the state government distributed 5.5 million pesos in 2024.
SEI head Kurt Honold Morales revealed that the program allows women who meet the requirements to invest in tools, furniture, or equipment , and the funds are delivered in a single payment directly to the provider of the goods or services.
