Honor has officially brought the Magic V5, the world's thinnest foldable phone, to Europe after debuting in China last month alongside the launch of the MagicPad 3 tablet and MagicBook Art 14 laptop.
As reported by The Verge on Friday, the device is now available for pre-order starting at 1,999 euros, or around Rp. 38.3 million.
The Magic V5 has been in the spotlight for its 8.8-millimeter-thick body, just 0.1 millimeter thinner than the Oppo Find N5 and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, at least in the white variant. However, the large rear camera bump prevents its dimensions from being completely slimmer than its competitors.
The Magic V5's main advantage lies in its battery. With a 15 percent silicon-carbon blend, this foldable phone can house a 5,820 mAh battery, significantly larger than the Galaxy Z Fold 7's 4,400 mAh capacity. Honor also promises up to seven years of Android 15 software support.
Other specifications include a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, up to 16GB of RAM, IP58/59 certification for dust and water resistance, and three flagship cameras: a 50MP main and ultrawide camera, plus a 64MP telephoto.
In addition to the foldable phone, Honor also launched the MagicPad 3, a 13.3-inch Android tablet with a 165Hz LCD display, a thickness of just 5.8mm, a 12,450mAh battery, and 66W fast charging. The MagicPad 3 is priced at 599 euros (Rp11.4 million).
Then there's the MagicBook Art 14, a slim magnesium-titanium Windows laptop with a 14.6-inch 3.1K OLED display. Powered by an Intel processor and Arc 140T GPU, the device is priced at 1,699 euros (Rp32.5 million).
