Tijuana, September 15.- Mario Osuna Jiménez , a candidate to head the State Steering Committee (CDE) of the National Action Party , announced that tomorrow, September 16, he will request registration in Mexicali, accompanied by the signatures that support his project.
The candidate who hopes to lead the blue and white party in Baja California commented that he has collected just over 1,200 signatures , surpassing the 940 signatures established in the call , equivalent to 10 percent of the state registry , which includes 9,400 members .
" We are ready to appear before the Election Organizing Committee , along with the men and women who will be part of our slate . They are committed to returning the PAN to its roots and laying the groundwork to once again become a governing option for the people of Baja California."
The only person who submitted a letter of intent
Osuna Jiménez reported that he has toured the state's municipalities with a positive response , where members have heard the arguments that support his aspiration to lead the PAN.
The 42-year-old candidate holds a law degree from the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC). He is the only person to date to submit a letter of intent to his party's leadership to seek the leadership of the CDE , currently headed by Enrique Méndez Juárez.
