Tijuana, May 12. An accident claimed the life of a 53-year-old man who was working as a mechanic in the Del Río Lower neighborhood.
The incident occurred on Ángel Peralta Street shortly after noon on Monday.
According to initial reports, the victim was lying under a pickup truck when the hydraulic jack supporting the vehicle suddenly failed.
The weight of the unit fell on the man, causing his instant death .
