Mexican politicians in Trump's sights

 

President Donald Trump suggested for the first time that his administration could seek investigations into Mexican politicians amid the ongoing fentanyl consumption and trafficking crisis in the United States, following his recent designation of eight Latin American criminal groups, including six Mexican cartels, as global terrorist organizations.

In response to a question from The Spectator World editor-in-chief Ben Domenech during an interview about whether he would hold accountable  many of the corrupt politicians who profited from human trafficking and the dumping  of the synthetic drug, he said, “I would recommend that they be taken for a ride.”

"I'm sure it will be District Attorney Pam Bondi, who is excellent at what she does, but there have been so many politicians..." added Trump, who evaded answering whether he could use kinetic force (a term used for military combat or other forms of directly destructive warfare) in Mexico.

I'd rather not tell you this... Sometimes you get asked a question like this and you want to answer because you don't want someone to come out and say... but if you give a sincere answer, it's a disaster.
