Montserrat Caballero responds to requests from neighbors to Bonilla during his campaign.

Tijuana, March 23, During a tour of the Fidel Velázquez neighborhood - one of the hardest hit during the recent floods - Senator Jaime Bonilla, who is seeking reelection to office through the Labor Party, listened to the residents' demands and then called the municipal president, Monserrat Caballero, and asked her to assist them.

-Hello, Madam President, how are you?
-Hello, sir, very well, thank you very much, at your service.

This is how the conversation with Caballero began, which Bonilla broadcast live during his tour today. During this conversation, he handed the phone to Rosa, an affected neighbor, to explain the problem they're having because the local government left them with an unfinished project, piled with dirt that threatens to clog the gutters with the next rain.

The affected woman explained that water reaches her street from Insurgentes Boulevard and the Azteca neighborhood, which during the recent floods caused the water to destroy everything on the ground floor of her house.

Unfinished work

In the work that the municipality left unfinished, the residents themselves decided to install toll booths to force drivers to slow down and avoid accidents, a situation that becomes more complicated
