Ensenada, April 11. Municipal President Claudia Agatón Muñiz launched Operation Semana Santa 2025 , which will seek to guarantee the safety of the local population and tourists during this holiday period.
At Plaza Cívica Patria, the mayor announced that 211 members of the various security forces and armed forces will be deployed, both in high-traffic areas and in different sectors of the city and its boroughs.
He detailed that 100 are assets of the Municipal Public Security Directorate (DSPM) and the other 111 belong to the State Attorney General's Office (FGE), the State Citizen Security Force (FESC), the National Guard, the Attorney General's Office (FGR), the Mexican Army, and the Ministry of the Navy (Semar).
DSPM head Alejandro Monreal Noriega indicated that there will be 19 patrol cars, 10 motorcycles, four ATVs, three racers, two electric vehicles, and eight bicycles.
