Mexicali, February 15.- The State Attorney General's Office (FGE) has received 600 complaints from people affected by the irregular operation of the Technical Advisory Center (Ceatt) in Tijuana and Mexicali.
Central Prosecutor Rafael Orozco Vargas said they are responding to complaints in Mexicali and Tijuana, where they have already conducted searches to recover student documents.
A few weeks ago, students from the middle and high schools in Mexicali and Tijuana learned that their studies were invalid because the CEATT lacked the necessary permits from the Ministry of Education.
In some cases, they received fake certificates with QR codes to a non-existent address.
"They're also asking for the return of the money invested, but this could happen after a trial is held against those who operated this educational center and the damages are repaired," he explained.
The state official reiterated that there are 600 complaints, but he does not rule out that the number could rise to 1,000 due to the number of affected students.
