Nintendo announced that the price of the Nintendo Switch game console will increase starting August 3, 2025, which applies to the OLED, standard, Lite models, and several related accessories.
As reported by Tech Crunch on Saturday, the reason for the price increase was cited as “market conditions,” which most likely refers to US President Donald Trump’s tariff policy.
In addition to the Switch line, other products such as accessories for the Nintendo Switch 2, certain amiibo, and the Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo will also see price adjustments. However, Nintendo has not yet revealed specific new prices.
