Ensenada, April 8. The Ministry of Infrastructure, Urban Development, and Territorial Reorganization (SIDURT) will implement traffic adjustments on the Tijuana-Ensenada Highway and changes to the detour routes near the El Sauzal Node in Ensenada.
This is because the existing bridge in the node's work area will be demolished, making it necessary to temporarily close the road to carry out the maneuvers as safely as possible.
The closure of the traffic junction will take place overnight on Tuesday, April 9. The Ensenada City Council will be providing support with the temporary installation of traffic lights and traffic officers.
The demolition will take three weeks, but detours will continue due to construction of the next phase of the hub.
Until further notice, those traveling to Ensenada via the Wine Route will be directed to the highway toward Tijuana, and then return to Ensenada through the FONDEPORT industrial park.
Likewise, vehicles traveling from Ensenada to Tijuana will be directed toward the Wine Route to bypass the work area and rejoin the scenic highway.
