Tijuana, August 31.- Based on the interest in the mental well-being of its citizens, the government of Mayor Montserrat Caballero Ramírez, through the Municipal Youth Institute (IMJUV), launched the "Quiere Tu Mente" program, where young people from Tijuana can receive mobile consultations from psychologists who work for different departments of the Tijuana City Council.
Gerardo López Montes, head of the Ministry of Well-being, explained that through these activities, which will be carried out on a traveling basis in different areas of the city, the goal is to give young people the confidence to approach professionals to reduce mental health problems.
"It's a priority for our mayor to reach out to this segment, to young people, and let them know there's an opportunity to receive care to improve their mental health," said López Montes.
