Vaccination registration for children 12 years of age and older has begun.

Mexicali, April 28.- Starting this Thursday, the national registry opened for all children 12 years of age and older without pre-existing conditions who require the COVID-19 vaccine, declared Health Secretary Adrián Medina Amarillas.

He commented that Baja California is one of the states with the highest vaccination coverage for this disease, which translates into better protection for Baja Californians who have decided to protect their health and that of their families.

He emphasized that the current care strategy is to make the vaccine more accessible, which is why it is available in public health units. AstraZeneca is available for those over 18 years of age, and Pfizer is available for minors.

Finally, the head of Health reminded that interested minors must register on the Federal Government platform: mivacuna.salud.gob.mx
