By August 2025, Hefei City in east China's Anhui Province will launch 25 drone blood bag delivery routes covering more than 20 hospital areas, saving valuable time for patients.
The city has also built 77 drone take-off and landing sites, enabling a variety of applications, including cargo transportation, food delivery, and postal services.
Mount Huangshan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, has long struggled with a limited efficient logistics system, relying solely on cable cars and human labor for transportation.
Since 2023, the tourist attraction has been utilizing drones to transport items such as household waste, food delivery, and construction supplies. By the first half of 2025, the drone fleet had completed more than 24,900 flights and transported 510 tons of supplies.
