The Batu City Regional Revenue Agency recorded that the collection of certain goods and services tax for food and beverages had reached 73 percent as of August 2025, from the target set in 2025 of IDR 35.9 billion.
"The PBJT for food and beverages until August 2025 has reached IDR 26.2 billion, or 73 percent of the set target of IDR 35.9 billion," said Head of the Batu City Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda), M Nur Adhim, in Batu City, East Java, on Sunday.
The high realization of PBJT Mamin, he said, was the impact of the increase in the number of new taxpayers (WP) recorded from January to August 2025.
The types of businesses opened are varied, ranging from cafes, restaurants, eateries, to catering.
As of the end of August 2025, 39 new taxpayers had been registered. This brings the total number of taxpayers registered for PBJT F&B services throughout this period to 538.
"For 2024, there are 499 taxpayers," he said.
Of the total 538 taxpayers, it is said that they have the potential to earn PBJT Mamin in 2025 ranging from IDR 2.5 billion to IDR 3.2 billion per month.
"The potential for revenue increases by approximately seven to eight percent," he said.
If we refer to the existing provisions, every taxpayer is required to pay the PBJT Mamin rate, which is 10 percent of the business turnover per month.
In addition, he said that the achievement of PBJT Mamin was a positive thing, because it reflected the compliance and awareness of business actors to register themselves as taxpayers.
