Ensenada, May 27. To educate the public about marine biodiversity, how to care for it, and how to use it responsibly, the Ensenada City Council and the Ensenada Center for Scientific Research and Higher Education (CICESE) will hold a public event to commemorate World Oceans Day .
Municipal President Claudia Agatón Muñiz announced that this free, family-friendly activity will take place on June 8th in the Plaza del Músico in Parque Revolución, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
She emphasized that researchers from CICESE, the Institute of Oceanological Research, Pronatura Noroeste, Pro Esteros, the Pelícano Program, Nosotras y el Mar, and others will participate.
Additionally, Tacos Floresta, Baja Kelp, and Revive La Cruda are confirmed on the gastronomic offering.
"We invite you to participate in this event, which will promote ocean stewardship and biodiversity in an engaging way," the mayor said.
