The movement said it was "ironic that a war criminal wanted by the International Criminal Court was allowed to speak from the UN podium about justice and rights, while he violates them daily through crimes of genocide, displacement, and starvation against the people of Gaza."
She added, "Netanyahu's speech included a series of repeated lies and flimsy allegations, in a pathetic attempt to cover up crimes documented by UN and international reports."
She considered that "the continued repetition of Israeli propaganda regarding the events of October 7 is no longer convincing, after international public opinion realized the extent of the deception practiced by the occupation, while the term 'anti-Semitism' has become a worn-out pretext for rejecting international positions condemning genocide."
Regarding the prisoners' file, the movement considered that "Netanyahu's attempts to lament over them and his show of addressing them via loudspeakers embody a sick colonial mentality," noting that he "is primarily responsible for obstructing any agreement guaranteeing their release, due to his insistence on continuing the aggression, his reversal of last January's agreement, and even his failed attempt to target the negotiating delegation in Qatar."
Netanyahu's justifications for continuing the bombing of Gaza, based on the presence of resistance fighters in the targeted buildings, were described as "a false cover to conceal war crimes and crimes against humanity committed daily against defenseless civilians."
She added, "His claim that Hamas seeks to kill Jews around the world is part of his systematic campaign to demonize the Palestinian people, while the truth is that Palestinian resistance is limited to confronting the occupation on our land."
The movement asserted that Netanyahu's talk of "imposing a puppet government in Gaza is merely an illusion," emphasizing that "the Palestinian people have proven their resilience and rejection of all forms of guardianship and subordination."
Hamas considered the boycott of Netanyahu's speech by the majority of international delegations to "reflect the extent of the isolation he and the Israeli entity are experiencing," stressing that "global solidarity with the Palestinian people's right to self-determination is expanding day by day."
The movement concluded by emphasizing that "the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital is an inalienable, fundamental right that cannot be undermined by the occupation's policies," emphasizing that "the Palestinian people will continue their path toward liberation and return until they achieve their full national rights."
Netanyahu delivered a speech on Friday before the United Nations General Assembly in New York to a nearly empty hall after most delegations withdrew in protest against the war of extermination in the Gaza Strip, which is about to enter its third year.
Meanwhile, Times Square, near the UN headquarters, witnessed a massive demonstration involving thousands of protesters from several US states, chanting slogans against Netanyahu's appearance at the UN podium and accusing him of committing "genocide" in Gaza.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza with American support, leaving 65,549 martyrs and 167,518 wounded, most of them children and women, and a famine that has claimed the lives of 442 Palestinians, including 147 children.
