The Israeli occupation army said in a statement: "The air force intercepted a drone launched from Yemen, and no alerts (warning sirens) were issued," without specifying the area in which the drone was intercepted.
This comes hours after the Israeli military announced that it had intercepted a missile launched early Thursday morning from Yemen. The Yemeni Houthi group did not immediately comment.
The drone and missile were launched the day after an Israeli attack on Sanaa and Al-Jawf Governorate (northeast) on Wednesday, which resulted in 35 deaths and 131 injuries, according to the Yemeni Houthi group.
