Malut United management has officially loaned midfielder Rifal Lastori to PSMS Medan, who are competing in the 2025/2026 Pegadaian Championship, until May 2026.
"We believe this opportunity will give Lastori more room to play regularly, while maintaining his top form," said Malut United COO Willem D Nanlohy when contacted in Ternate on Friday.
Willem stated that Malut United management received the loan application on Monday (September 8, 2025). Lastori has now arrived in Medan to begin preparations with PSMS.
The management and coaching staff had previously discussed Lastori's situation. Loaning the 28-year-old winger was the best decision, mutually agreed upon.
"Malut United still has high hopes for Lastori and we look forward to his contribution when he returns," said Willem.
