Mexicali, December 8.- On Wednesday afternoon, agents from the Mexicali Municipal Public Security Directorate (DSPM) shot a person who attempted to sexually abuse his own mother.
The incident occurred in the Jardines del Lago neighborhood, where 43-year-old Amalia stated that her son sexually assaulted her.
A brother of the attacker made the call to the C-4 emergency center requesting help for domestic violence.
When officers arrived, the victim reported that her 26-year-old son, Cristian Saúl, had grabbed her by the hair. However, she managed to break free and run out into the street, shouting for help to her other son, who lives across the street.
Officers found the attacker sitting on the sidewalk in front of his home when he stood up with a knife in his right hand, which he had hidden behind his back.
Despite the officers' attempts to ask him to drop the knife, the attacker lunged at an officer.
Faced with this, the agent fired two shots with his service weapon, neutralizing him, and when he fell to the ground, they managed to arrest him.
An ambulance was immediately requested for treatment and subsequent transfer to the Mexicali General Hospital.
