Mexicali, October 10.- Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda, governor-elect of Baja California, announced the names of the heads of the Secretariats of Economy, Welfare, and Sports who will assume office after her inauguration on November 1.
Through its official Facebook page, Pilar Ávila announced that Kurt Ignacio Honold Morales will serve as head of the Ministry of Economy and Innovation; Netzahualcóyotl Jáuregui Santillán will be in charge of the Ministry of Well-being; and Lourdes Cañez Martínez will be in charge of the State Institute of Sports and Physical Culture.
Kurt Ignacio Honold Morales, a certified public accountant from Cetys Campus Mexicali, is a former mayor of Tijuana and a renowned businessman in the region thanks to his career in the private sector. He has extensive knowledge of business operations and their maintenance.
For his part, Netzahualcóyotl Jáuregui Santillán holds a degree in accounting from the Autonomous University of Baja California ( UABC ) and is recognized in private business in the region. He has also been a key player in Morena's political campaign.
