Rosarito, March 27.- After a long day of sporting action in the sunshine of Rosarito Beach, the Netherlands and Qatar won the final of the Elite 16 Beach Volleyball World Tour.
In the women's category, the Dutch pair of Katja Stam and Raiisa Schoon were crowned, beating the Lithuanian pair in second place; the Brazilian pair finished third.
Meanwhile, the Qatari pair of Cherif Younousse Samba and Ahmed Tijan won the men's category against the Netherlands, who finished second. Norway finished third in this category.
Between Wednesday, March 23rd and Sunday, March 27th, a total of 32 teams competed in a series of qualifying rounds leading to the finals.
