China wins overall title at 2025 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships

  China emerged as the overall champion of the 2025 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, winning three gold medals, one silver medal, and three bronze medals, at the Indonesia Arena in Jakarta on Saturday.


The gold medals were won by Jingyuan Zou in the men's parallel bars event, Qingying Zhang in the women's balance beam event, and Yanming Hong in the men's saddle horse event.


Meanwhile, Zhang Boheng won silver in the men's all-around event, and bronze was won by Qinying Zhang in the women's all-around event, Fanyuwei Yang in the women's uneven bars event, and Xingyu Lan in the men's rings event.


China overtook the AIN (Individual Athlete Neutral) athletes who held the top spot in the provisional standings. AIN athletes finished fourth with two gold medals, one silver medal, and one bronze medal.




Meanwhile, Japan is in second place with two gold, two silver, and 1 bronze, then closed by the United States in the Top 3 with two gold, one silver, and one bronze.


The Philippines was the only Southeast Asian country to win a medal, winning one gold and one bronze through Carlos Yulo in the floor exercise and uneven bars events.
