FGI is ready to accept the challenge of organizing the next major events

The general chair of the Indonesian Gymnastics Federation (FGI), Ita Juliati, is ready to accept the challenge of organizing the next major gymnastics events, after Indonesia successfully hosted the 2025 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships.

"I like challenges, you know. We know that artistic gymnastics is a parent sport and an Olympic sport, and it's very complex," Ita said after the closing ceremony of the 2025 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships at the Indonesia Arena in Jakarta on Saturday.

"With this event now over, and thank God we were able to complete it well, I think we'll accept the challenge if it comes again," he said.

At the 2025 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, China topped the final standings with three gold medals, one silver medal, and three bronze medals. Japan finished second with two gold medals, two silver medals, and one bronze medal. The United States finished third with two gold medals, one silver medal, and two bronze medals.
