Ryan Cherki had been out for six weeks with a thigh injury, and it was frustrating for the French star who scored in his first game back against Wolverhampton.
Ryan Cherki praised his coach Pep Guardiola in comments published by the "Manchester Evening News": "He is very cool and crazy like me, two crazy men, we talk about everything, it's unbelievable."
He added: "Football is my whole life. I enjoy it, I sleep with it, I bathe with it. We have a great team and we want to win all the matches. We don't want a repeat of what happened in our last match against Villa."
He continued: "I feel very comfortable because it's simple with these players. We speak in the same way, so we enjoy ourselves when we're on the pitch."
He added: "I feel very good. I was injured for a long time and I am very happy to be back. I worked hard with the physiotherapist to return quickly and I am very happy to be back and to play with my teammates. The most important thing is the team and not me. I want to enjoy all the matches and win them. When we lose the last match we strive to win the next one and that is why we are happy."
Manchester City are scheduled to face Bournemouth in a Premier League match at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday evening.
