Ministry of Communication and Digital Strengthens Public Communication and Positive Content

The Ministry of Communication and Digital (Kemkomdigi) continues to strengthen the government's public communications capacity and network to become more adaptive, professional, and collaborative amidst the rapid digital transformation.

"Public communication today is no longer simply about conveying information. It must build trust and citizen participation. The digital public space needs to be filled with positive content to prevent it from being controlled by irresponsible parties," said Nursodik Gunarjo, Director of Public Information at the Directorate General of Public Communication and Media (KPM) at the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs, as quoted in a press release received in Jakarta on Wednesday.

Nursodik made the remarks in his remarks at the opening of three strategic activities held simultaneously in Denpasar, Bali, on Wednesday (October 29th), namely: Indonesia.go.id (IGID) Menyapa, the Media Monitoring Forum (FoMo), and the Technical Guidance (Bimtek) on Government Content Standardization.

These three activities officially emphasized the importance of building a public communication system that is credible, meaningful, and encourages public participation.

Nursodik stated that the three activities have a common thread, namely strengthening the capacity and synergy of public communication between agencies so that they can adapt quickly to changes in public information patterns.
