US artificial intelligence company OpenAI is reportedly developing a new tool that can generate music based on text and audio .
This report was first revealed by The Information, as quoted by TechCrunch on Saturday (October 25th). This generative music tool is designed to be used to add music to existing videos or to add guitar accompaniment to existing vocal tracks.
It's unclear when OpenAI plans to launch this new model of generative artificial intelligence.
Not only that, it is also unclear whether the company will provide it as a standalone product or whether it will be integrated with other products such as ChatGPT or its AI video application Sora.
However, one thing is clear, in the development of this new tool, according to The Information, it can be confirmed that OpenAI is working with a number of students from the world's prestigious art school, the Juilliard School, to annotate the scores as a way to provide training data.
