Raymond Indra/Nikolaus Joaquin win the men's doubles title at the Indonesia Masters.

Men's doubles pair Raymond Indra/Nikolaus Joaquin secured Indonesia's second title at the 2025 Indonesia Masters II, following the previous success of mixed doubles pair Marwan Faza/Aisyah Salsabila Putri Pranata.

Raymond/Nikolaus defeated the Korean-Malaysian mixed doubles pair, Choi Sol Gyu/Goh V Shem with 21-18, 17-21, 24-22 in the final at the PBSI Sports Hall in North Sumatra, Sunday.

Nikolaus was grateful to have won the match which he called truly tense.

"Earlier in the first game, we played aggressively because we had the advantage, and in the second game, we were ahead 11-9," Nikolaus said after the match.

"But we were in a rush to attack, so they were waiting for our shots, and we didn't anticipate them, so we ended up losing the second game 13-21," he continued.

In the third game, they implemented a pattern and when changing places during the interval they tried to play more patiently.

And it worked, leading 20-19. At this point, Nikolaus admitted his hands were shaking as he served, which he ultimately failed to deliver.

"But my coach and partner kept convincing me to take this opportunity to become a super 100 champion," he said.
